Maluka Partners
Family owned and operated farming business
'Maluka' is the Secker family farming brand, established in 1933 by Bill (W.V) hailing from the West Coast region of South Australia. For four generations they were sheep breeders and the brand stood for high quality Corridale & White Suffolk rams. In the early 90's Patrick and his young family purchased an irrigated lucerne property in Keith and that is where Will has called home since. In 2014 he made the decision to cease commercial breeding and focus on his passion, the production of lucerne.
Sarah was also raised with agriculture in the blood. She originates from a family Merino sheep and broad acre cropping property in the Mid-North of South Australia.
In 2018, newly married Will and Sarah Secker joined forces and began their journey farming together. They have expanded their holdings, all around Keith in the South Eastern corner of South Australia. Their business model has water at it's core and this is reflected in the types of land holdings they have acquired in recent times. This enables the production of irrigated lucerne seed and hay in laser levelled flood bays. To complement this they run up to 4,000 Merino ewes producing first cross lambs.
